How to manage your account settings — profile, notifications, kennel and social pages, payments, plan changes, custom health schedules, password, and contracts received from other users.

Q: How do I get to account settings?

Click your name, then Account Settings.

Q: What can I change in account settings?

Profile photo, name, email, phone, and address; notification preferences; your kennel page; social links; payment cards and autopay; your plan; custom health schedules; and your password.

Q: How do health reminder notifications work?

If enabled, Pet Records emails you every day listing what health items are due that day and what is past due. You can also opt into product updates and tips.

Q: What do social links on my account do?

Links you add (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) show on both your website and your Pet Search listing.

Q: Can I use my own vaccine/deworming schedule instead of the default?

Yes. By default the system calculates next-due dates from USDA and AKC recommendations, but you can create your own schedules and it will follow your rules instead.

Q: How do I change or cancel my subscription?

Under Plans you can see your current plan and next billing date, switch to a lower tier, or cancel your subscription.

Q: What are “contracts received”?

Contracts and invoices sent to you by other Pet Records users — for example a breeder you bought a dog from — appear in your account here.

Here's your account settings. You get to it just by clicking your name, account settings. From here you can upload your own profile photo, your name, your email, phone number, address. You can choose if you want to get notifications from us. So this is health reminders. We send them every single day what is due on that day and what is past due. You also can get product updates and tips from us.

Here's your Kennel page. We've already shown this to you. Here's your social page. So if you have a Facebook page and Instagram page, Twitter, YouTube, whatever, put the links right here. They will show on your website. They'll also show on pet search. Here is payments. So you can add credit and debit cards. This is how your auto pay will be set up to bill for your plan.

And here's the plans. So this shows the current plan that I'm on in the next time that I will be billed. You can switch to lower tier or you can cancel your subscription.

This is really cool schedule. So when you add a health record, like whether it's a vaccine, the warming or rabies, it's going to automatically calculate when the next one is due based on USDA and AKC recommended schedules, but not every breeder follows that schedule.

So if you have your own schedule, you can create those schedules right here and then our system will obey your rules instead of ours. And then you can change your password.

After that, you can look at contracts you've received. So as pet records grows, eventually you may or already have bought a dog from somebody who uses pet records.
